We want your move to be a big success.

Moving comes with plenty of challenges and we often hear questions from our tenants about how to handle various steps of the process. We've created these checklists to provide a clear overview of how to prepare for your move. We'll provide all information about your move-in and the first inspection when you sign your lease.

All utilities for your rental account need to be placed in your name. Please take care of this immediately after signing the lease; failure to promptly call the utility company could result in lost access and administrative fees.

Move-out Checklist

Notice of Intent to Vacate

Planning to leave your rental home? Please provide us with written notice of your intent to vacate so we can begin preparing for a new tenant.

Property Condition

Before you hand in the keys for your rental, you need to bring your home back to its original rental condition. This includes the following:

• Rental Cleaning: Properly clean every part of your home, taking special care to sanitize the bathrooms and kitchen spaces. Remove all trash from the property, as well as your personal belongings. You'll also need to mop/sweep/vacuum floors and wipe down hard surfaces.

• Landscaping & Outdoor Areas: If you regularly address landscaping chores for your rental property, please do these once more before vacating the premises.

• Repairs: If any damage has occurred during your stay, please take the necessary steps to rectify these issues.

Security Deposit

The security deposit you pay at the outset of your lease protects against any damage that could occur during your occupancy. After you vacate the premises, we will perform a final inspection. If we identify any damage, we will schedule repairs.

All expenses for these repairs will be deducted from your deposit. The remainder will be returned to you.
